Building a better standard

Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service wanted a way to reveal the new Patients’ Charter: a set of ‘service standards’ for the CYPMH Service.

Solution

Engaging with a group of children and young people, we held a number of workshops to find out the best ways to give feedback. We discussed topics for the survey and took on board their thoughts and ideas. This all impacted how the survey was finally constructed.

Alongside this, we developed an animation that would convey the charter message – this was created using hand-drawn illustrations and voiceovers from the children involved in the project.
